As an architect in the fields of landscape and urban design, I seek to forge links between Chinese historical thoughts of the landscape and the current research of architects and landscapers, by exploring the potential of this ancient knowledge of spatial planning in the face of ecological challenges, questions about housing and urban density issues for future development.
