Presentation
My work focuses on deepening Xixia archaeology and art history, taking into account the latest discoveries and recent research, as well as delving into certain aspects that could not be dealt with, or in a more superficial way, in my PhD thesis.
I also wish to continue and amplify my reflections on the relations that the Silk Road peoples had with China from the Tang period onwards, trying to understand their degree of sinicization, the preservation of their own identity through customs, beliefs and architecture, by exploiting archaeological data and applying concepts such as cultural transfers.
