Presentation
I hold a DPhil in Oriental Studies from the University of Oxford (2020). My doctoral research focused on the autobiographical writings of Sumpa Khenpo Yeshe Paljor (1704-1788), exploring his public identity against a backdrop of intense political change, and how these shifts impacted the intricate social, intellectual, and political networks in which he operated. Following my graduate studies, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the TibSchol project at the Austrian Academy of Sciences, where I contributed to the development and application of digital resources. I also investigated the extent of Tibetan scholastic writings during the 11th-13th centuries and the intellectual networks of the time.
In 2024, I joined the PaganTibet project at EPHE, where I’ll focus on the application of digital humanities elements such as handwritten text recognition (HTR) and natural language processing (NLP).
