Presentation
I am an anthropologist working on relationships to waste in domestic contexts in contemporary Mongolia, both in urban (Ulaanbaatar) and rural settings. My research examines the vernacular concept of waste and its evolution over the course of the twentieth century, as well as the different models of interaction with and handling of waste that develop according to the frames of reference claimed by social actors (environmentalism, Mongolian domestic life, and energy constraints).
I am currently a teaching and research fellow at the University of Bordeaux.
