I studied Tibetan language in the Chamdo Gonchen Jampaling monastery. I then studied Tibetan history and English at the Sherab Gastel Institute in Dharamsala for 3 years. After my studies, I worked for several years in the Amnye Machen Institute, where I transcribed and edited historical publications.
In 2015 I taught Tibetan language at the National Institute for Oriental Language and Civilisations (INALCO) in Paris.
I joined the ERC TibArmy team in September 2017. I am responsible for transcribing textual and audio Tibetan sources and coordinating the development of the lexicon of military terminology.
