Since 2011 my research has focused on the Tibetan Bön religion and its literature under the supervision of Charles Ramble at the École Pratique des Hautes Études. My master thesis was entitled “Women in Bonpo Religious Literature”. Subsequently, I continued my research on ancient manuscripts of Bön rituals. I was particularly interested in the cults of different spirits in the Tibetan natural world, and chose the klu, so-called “serpent spirits,” as the subject of my thesis. The thesis is a comparative study of the structure and content of different versions of the Klu ’bum, a little-studied but very important work on the klu, which may date from the tenth century. I defended my thesis in June 2021. Currently, I am continuing my research on rituals that are part of the klu cult based on field observations in Nepal.
